Paramadharmawardhanaramaya - God Shrine

Cities

The local people had strong faith in the Triple Gem and supported the needs of the temple. They also sought the blessings of the gods. To meet this need, the chief monk of Paramadharmawardhanaramaya Temple at the time, the Most Venerable Veralugasthanne Pemananda Thero, took steps to build a shrine for the deities near the sacred Bo tree, shortly after 1948.
